If you head to The New Yorker’s Facebook page and click ‘Like’ you can see all 97 minutes of the Arrested Development cast reunion. One detail I’ve liked so far is that the scene in the video I’ve embedded was written in pretty much 20 minutes. Amy Poehler was done shooting her part and was talking to Will Arnett (they are real life husband and wife if you didn’t know) and mentioned that it kind of seemed like a “that’s it?” sort of thing since the character didn’t really have a resolution. Will went and talked to series creator Mitch Hurwitz who told him “Get her to hang around for an hour.” The writers wrote this and then they immediately went and shot it.
